Caravel Labs was founded in 2020 upon the realization of both the urgency of action and the power of software technology towards the greatest existential threat to humanity in recorded history. 

We know that this problem will not be solved by a single “silver bullet” software product. We believe that it will be solved when innovators across every dimension of society can harness custom software solutions to scale their impact on an ever-changing problem landscape. Which is why we serve by equipping our customers with a permanent software delivery capability and not just software that meets specifications. Also, by actively moving away from the traditional effort-based revenue model to a novel usage-based revenue model, we are removing all incentives that impede the efficiency and speed necessary for us to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), which are closely interlinked with solving the climate change problem. 

We don’t rate our customers by their position on the list of a certain business magazine, or whether they even figure there today. Instead, we look at the number of lives they impact positively and their measurable impact toward the UN SDGs. On that note, we are very proud to announce our conclusion of an agreement with Koel Fresh Private Limited, based in Rourkela, India, towards the development of a digital platform for aggregating and strengthening the supply chain between farmers, micro food processing units and the consumer market, in a manner that is beneficial and equitable to all. The platform primarily aims to improve the socio-economic condition of the farmers at large, with a special emphasis on women working in the agricultural sector and microentrepreneurs in the food processing industry.
